Ingredients for 6 people
- 1 L of whole milk
- a knob of butter
- 200g of round rice (the best one is dessert rice)
- 150g of powder sugar
- 1 vanilla pod
- 2 saucepans
- 1 wooden spoon
- 1 strainer
- 1 cutting board
- 1 knife
Cook the rice 5 minutes in boiling water, then drip it .
In the other saucepan, pour the milk and put it to heat with the vanilla pod split in half with the tip of a knife.
As soon as the milk begins to boil, pour in the rice, lower the heat and cook for 20 minutes.
When the cooking is finished, scrape the inside of the vanilla pod with the point of the knife to recover all the small seeds before throwing the pod.
tip: you can also serve rice pudding with salted butter caramel
